We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Accounting Specialist with expertise in QuickBooks to manage financial records effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation process, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and maintaining consistency across various records. This position demands the efficient management of multiple reconciliations on a daily basis while upholding high standards of precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee outsourced reconciliation activities, thoroughly analyzing financial records against bank statements, invoices, and other relevant documents to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve potential errors and inconsistencies beyond basic balance matching, ensuring comprehensive accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Complete 3-5 bank reconciliations each day, with an expected turnaround time of approximately 1 hour per reconciliation.
  • Supervise the reconciliation process by comparing financial records with bank statements, invoices, and other documentation.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Pro for record management, reconciliation tasks, and financial reporting.
  • Accurately enter data using a 10-Key pad.
  • Create and manage confirmation letters and other documentation utilizing Microsoft Word.
  • Perform basic tasks and manage data in Microsoft Excel.
  • Apply knowledge of tax regulations to ensure compliance in financial reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Typing speed of 51+ words per minute.
  • Experience in managing outsourced reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately within a structured billing framework.


Additional Expectations:

  • No vacations permitted during peak business months.
