Senior Manager of Cultural Competence

The Senior Manager of Cultural Competence will play a key role in advancing the National Audubon Society's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote cultural competence within the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' professional experience, including at least 3 years at a senior management level with comparable staff and budget responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural competence within the organization.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to identify and address barriers to cultural competence.
• Provide education and training on cultural competence topics to staff and leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance cultural competence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years' professional experience, including at least 3 years at a senior management level with comparable staff and budget responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills and strong business and management skills; demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a must.
• Experienced organizational leader with an array of experience in equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Compensation: $180,000-$195,000 per year.
