Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers upon entrance and provide a welcoming experience.
  • Check on purchase orders for customers and ensure timely delivery.
  • Assess customer needs and wants, answer customer questions and concerns, and provide appropriate product recommendations.
  • Ensure merchandise is in-stock and displayed on shelves in a presentable manner.
  • Use point of sale (POS) system to conduct purchase transactions and process merchandise returns.
  • Assist in product inventory procedures and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products to increase sales and revenue.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales quotas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication capabilities and customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively, with basic math skills and familiarity with POS system and inventory procedures.
  • Friendly, approachable personality and ability to perform and sell in a retail environment.
