Key Responsibilities
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Your tasks will include:
- Assembling parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks using power equipment and wrenching techniques.
- Drilling holes for wires, hoses, and small parts.
- Operating a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts.
- Positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
- Installing various truck accessories, such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
- Lifting and stacking completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs.
- Training and working in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.
- FOLLOWING VERBAL AND WRITTEN WORK INSTRUCTIONS.
- MAINTAINING A SAFE AND CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT BY COMPLYING WITH PROCEDURES, RULES, AND REGULATIONS.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in an assembly or mechanical occupation.
