Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies, using power equipment and wrenching techniques. You will also operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts, and install various truck accessories.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment. You will also be required to follow verbal and written work instructions, and train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.
Responsibilities- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks
- Operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts
- Install various truck accessories
- Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs
- Train and work in various areas of assembly
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry
- Preferred qualifications: 1+ year(s) of experience in an assembly or mechanical occupation
