Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team at Kable Staffing. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding mild and structural steel using gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG) and flux cored arc welding (FCAW) methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficiently use basic hand tools such as grinders, cut-off wheels, and magnetic drills.
  • Accurately read and interpret tape measures.
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Operate overhead cranes (experience a plus).
  • Lift and maneuver metal components up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Attended a welding trade school and completed program.
  • 1+ year of on-the-job experience welding using GMAW or FCAW methods.
  • Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Stand and/or walk most shifts, plus ability to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Demonstrated exemplary attendance and work habits.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Pass background check and drug test.
