Job SummaryDS Containers is seeking a skilled Millwright Welder to maintain production equipment in our high-speed plant in Batavia, IL. As a key member of our production team, you will be trained in the manufacturing process and work collaboratively to maintain high efficiencies and reduce spoilage. Key responsibilities include operating equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and lubrications, and performing root cause analysis and breakdown repairs on industrial compressors, vacuum pumps, cooling towers, punch presses, and other equipment. If you have experience working in a production line setting, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance and lubrications
  • Perform root cause analysis and breakdown repairs on industrial compressors, vacuum pumps, cooling towers, punch presses, and other equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain high efficiencies and reduce spoilage
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure a safe working environment


Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience working in a production line setting
  • Experience adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screens
