Position Overview:

As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the trust that freight brokers place in Highway. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, your primary focus will be on the backend development of our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement backend solutions tailored for Highway's needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to build and sustain the Ruby on Rails backend codebase.
  • Regularly monitor the backend applications and the associated AWS infrastructure.
  • Engage in teamwork with fellow developers to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
