We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School-Based Team Lead to join our team at Health Care and Rehabilitation Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing high-quality behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of professionals, including behavior interventionists, therapists, and other support staff.
- Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs and services to meet the needs of children and adolescents with mental health challenges.
- Client Care: Provide direct care to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized plans of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other community partners to ensure seamless delivery of services and coordination of care.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing behavioral health services.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with agency policies and procedures, and that quality assurance standards are met.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Experience: 3 years of experience in the provision of services to children or adults with mental health challenges or developmental disabilities.
- Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and/or the capacity to travel regularly from office to office, or to businesses.
The work environment will vary significantly, with the employee working in a variety of settings, including schools, offices, and community-based locations. The employee may be subjected to unpleasant odors and other disagreeable environmental factors particular to specific business and home environments.
