ResponsibilitiesAre you seeking a chance to create enterprise solutions for data-centric and service-oriented capabilities that empower critical development, testing, and operational activities? Join our Enterprise Data Applications and Platform team within the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) as a SETA contractor on the Geralt program.
In your role as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Implement automation enhancements throughout the CI/CD pipeline, including build, test, package, and deployment processes.
- Evaluate developer suggestions for software improvements across cloud environments, containerization, and open-source technologies.
- Coordinate software monitoring upgrades to guarantee optimal performance and availability metrics analysis.
- Facilitate the transition from a multi-tenant platform environment to a customizable single-tenant environment solution.
- Assess developer performance by reviewing contract deliverables, program management evaluations, architecture designs, and demonstration/tests.
- Enhance pre-increment planning and iterative integration demonstrations and tests through Agile software development best practices.
- Requires 12 to 15 years of experience with a BS/BA, 10 to 13 years with an MS/MA, or 8 to 10 years with a PhD.
- Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical or scientific fields such as engineering or a related STEM program.
- 1 or more AWS certifications in Operations or Development (or other cloud service providers, e.g., Azure, OCI, GCP) with 10+ years of experience supporting Operational Systems or Development Platforms.
- Experience with Enterprise CI/CD tools (GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote and implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organization.
- Ability to review and analyze vulnerability data with security teams to identify risks and prepare vulnerability reports for automation definition and policy establishment.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and tools.
- Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
