Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to demonstrate their expertise in renovation, general construction, construction management, and general contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from design to implementation.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis and ensure all safety regulations are met.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to involved staff and contractors.
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the construction industry, specifically in renovation, general construction, construction management, and general contracting.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction details and building codes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software packages.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
