About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mohs Technician to join our Dermatology team at Billings Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Mohs team in delivering patient care and treatment, performing laboratory and histology duties, and assisting with surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Mohs Surgeon and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
  • Develop and implement training programs for Mohs technicians to ensure they meet expectations and requirements for promotion.
  • Evaluate and prepare tissue for pathologic evaluation, perform histology duties, and coach and mentor Mohs technicians.
  • Lead cross-training of personnel assigned to the team, ensure competencies of technicians, and help address patient concerns and complaints.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience equivalent to a Level II Mohs Technician in Billings Clinic, preferred.
  • Experience as a lead or team lead, preferred.
  • LPN or Certified Dermatology Technician or Medical Assistant certification.
