Position Overview

The Brand Consultant is primarily accountable for facilitating the sale of new and/or pre-owned vehicles while adhering to dealership profitability, volume, and customer satisfaction benchmarks. This role encompasses three main areas: personal work habits, prospecting, and sales. The foundation of this position is centered around customer satisfaction; the Brand Consultant is dedicated to ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

Leadership Structure

This position does not involve managing other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop monthly plans to gain insights into daily activities essential for achieving personal targets as outlined by management.
  2. Monitor daily tasks such as showroom inquiries, internet leads, test drives, and appointments to stay aligned with monthly objectives. Communicate with management regarding any challenges or opportunities that may impact workflow.
  3. Complete all daily responsibilities, including but not limited to: CRM tasks, follow-ups, entering accurate customer contact details, and post-delivery follow-ups as directed by management.
  4. Maintain the CRM system to foster repeat business and encourage vehicle owners to refer potential clients, while also meeting market share goals.
  5. Engage proactively in customer prospecting, identifying opportunities beyond daily walk-in traffic to help meet sales targets.
  6. Conduct a comprehensive dealership tour with all clients (service, features, parts, etc.).
  7. Oversee the delivery of sold vehicles, showcasing features and functionalities. Offer a second delivery at the customer's convenience.
  8. Acquire knowledge of automotive terminology and stay updated on technological advancements in products. Familiarize yourself with competitive offerings, including pricing, features, models, and trade practices.
  9. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores above the regional average on a monthly basis.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. High School Diploma required.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a sales-focused environment preferred.
  3. Ability to adapt and embrace change with a customer-centric approach.
  4. Act as a supporter for colleagues and demonstrate a strong commitment to technological advancements.
  5. Possess strong communication skills: verbal, written, and listening.
  6. Work effectively with customers, promote a positive company image, and strive to resolve customer issues.

Typical work schedule: Monday - Saturday with a designated day off during the week.
