About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at WVU Medicine's Surgical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
  • One year of experience in a surgical or critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients with proper use of equipment and techniques.
