We are seeking a dedicated Stormwater Compliance Project Manager with a focus on SWPPP development to enhance our expanding team. This role is suitable for mid to senior-level professionals in the stormwater management field. The position offers flexibility in location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental compliance initiatives related to stormwater.
- Assist clients in adhering to stormwater regulations to mitigate pollutant discharge.
- Conduct stormwater inspections and develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
- Perform stormwater sampling and desktop evaluations.
- Provide training to construction teams on compliance practices.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports.
- Support special projects and initiatives as required.
- Travel may be necessary, including occasional overnight stays and extended hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Current QSD certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SWPPP development and stormwater management.
- Comprehensive understanding of water quality management, relevant laws, and regulations.
- Familiarity with California State Water Board Permits and SMARTS system.
- Knowledge of the California Stormwater Construction General Permit and CASQA guidelines.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CESSWI, CPESC, CPSWQ, or QISP.
- Experience in natural resource management, including wetlands.
- Proficiency in Arc GIS Pro.
