ROLE SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Director of Concessions, the Food Service Operations Supervisor will be tasked with efficiently and profitably overseeing all daily operations related to concessions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the operational budget, including monthly profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team responsible for executing the concessions business strategy.
  • Maintain cost efficiency concerning labor and operational supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure exceptional service and product quality by fostering positive relationships with customers and clients through effective communication and sound financial practices.
  • Establish and uphold safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring proper maintenance of food service equipment and compliance with health regulations.
  • Oversee adherence to federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding alcohol sales.
  • Manage staffing, ensuring appropriate hiring and promotion practices in line with Legends standards.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to meet operational needs and ensure contract compliance.
  • Enhance existing programs and innovate new concepts to guarantee the highest quality of food service.
  • Conduct monthly inventory assessments for concessions operations and develop annual operational budgets.
  • Promote adherence to safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions and completing required safety training.
  • Document all safety incidents in the company's risk management system on the same day they occur.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of management experience in a high-volume food service environment, preferably within a concessions setting for sports and entertainment venues.
  • Union experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and vision in managing teams and significant projects.
  • A customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate positively and professionally with employees, vendors, clients, and guests.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and POS systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive salary starting at $66,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is on-site. The physical demands required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job include:
  • Regularly sitting, talking, and hearing; using hands and fingers to handle controls.
  • Frequently reaching with hands and arms, standing, walking, and stooping.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
