Job Title: Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician to join our team at EOS USA. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and installation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team
  • Install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites
  • Cable management and planning layout and installation of all 1st fix hardware
  • Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts and possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills
  • Proficient use and safety with power tools and diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
  • Travel as needed to other sites for projects support and/or installs
Requirements:
  • Some experience with Crestron/Extron/QSYS/Cisco and knowledge of signal flow
  • Knowledge of how to build AV racks to required AVIXA standards and experience terminating associated connectors
  • Must be agile and exhibit a strong sense of urgency, responsive, efficient, and have excellent customer interaction skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure
  • Must be engaged in the process of technical development and be eligible, willing, and able to work and travel globally when required
  • Good organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customer
  • Be a motivated team player and have a valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
  • 1-3 years' experience in the AV/VC industry and knowledge of signal flow
  • Some experience with AV installation and any: Cisco/Extron/Crestron/QSYS
  • AVIXA CTS/CTS-I Certification is desired and OSHA 10/30 Certificate is highly desired
