As a Dental Patient Care Navigator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a positive and efficient office environment.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, dental providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Collect and track patient data, including socio-demographic information and health outcomes, to inform population health management and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist patients with insurance enrollment, benefits, and prior authorizations, ensuring they receive the care they need.
  • Coordinate care with external offices, specialists, and other services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Verify patient eligibility, copays, and benefits, and facilitate benefits and prior authorizations between patients and insurance companies.
  • Provide education on Mary's Center programs and services, ensuring patients are informed and empowered to take control of their health.
  • Schedule patients for dental specialties, review dental referrals, and schedule follow-ups to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Review and submit dental claims, resolving discrepancies and balancing daily cash to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office is desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, with additional language proficiency or fluency preferred.
