Position Summary:

The Bartender Support Staff plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This position is essential for creating a welcoming environment, as the Bar Back is responsible for maintaining the bar's efficiency and ensuring that every guest feels valued during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold grooming and uniform standards to reflect professionalism.
  • Deliver authentic hospitality and build emotional connections with patrons.
  • Foster teamwork and contribute to the restaurant's overall success.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to enhance the dining experience.
  • Restock beverages and supplies throughout the shift to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
  • Handle waste disposal and sanitation tasks as needed.
  • Polish glassware and utensils to uphold presentation standards.
  • Assist in serving beverages and responding to guest inquiries regarding menu items.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly.
  • Coordinate with management and hosts regarding table status and updates.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the bar.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times.
  • Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing duties accurately.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent; must be proficient in English.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
  • Other Requirements: Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages; possess coordination skills for handling multiple drinks and plates.
