Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and friendly Grocery Floor Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer orders efficiently and accurately, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, courteous customer service to internal and external customers
  • Process customer orders using check stand equipment such as cash registers, scanners, and scales
  • Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of current product location, monitor UPC codes, and ensure proper pricing
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed, including stocking, pricing, and rotating merchandise
Requirements
  • Ability to consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work varied hours, including night, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering objects up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk rapidly, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
  • Ability to learn and memorize a considerable amount of information, including PLU codes, product locations, and company policies
Additional Requirements
  • Food Handlers Certification (per state laws)
  • Ability to operate check stand equipment, including cash registers, scanners, and scales
