Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Calculate tax extension or estimate payments, taking into account complex tax laws and regulations
  • Participate in client meetings, working closely with Forvis Mazars partners and managers to provide exceptional service

Requirements

  • Working towards an accounting degree and CPA exam eligibility
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the success of the team
