Radiology Procedure Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Procedure Assistant to join our team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. As a member of our Imaging Services team, you will provide technical assistance to technologists and radiologists performing diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining supplies and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide technical support to radiologists and technologists during procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with the Diagnostic Radiology Team Leader and Registered Nurses to ensure smooth operation of Imaging Services.
Requirements:
  • CNA certification, EMT, or other healthcare-related education/certification.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and invasive equipment.
  • Previous work experience in an acute care setting or operating room environment.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
