Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Core Staffing Service. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations of the highest quality while minimizing radiation exposure and utilizing conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and C-arm radiology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic examinations of the highest quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients of all ages under the supervision of a department Radiologist.
  • Comply with measures to ensure patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
  • Supervise students according to competency level.
  • Comply with and provide leadership in maintaining an environment that supports our philosophy and values.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of radiological standards and procedures acquired through completion of a diploma from an approved AMA school of radiological technology or an Associate's Degree in Radiology.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience in Diagnostic Radiology, with previous experience in Cath Lab/Special Procedures preferred.
  • Possesses State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACLS certification.
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Cath Lab monitoring systems.
  • Possesses a complete and thorough understanding of the operation of all equipment and patient monitors, including set-up and function: EKG, invasive pressure, NIBP, SAO2, etc.
