Role Overview
The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for executing both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks for the final assembly of IPEG brand products. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining, testing, and repairing assemblies upon completion of production units.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment according to engineering specifications and standards, utilizing work orders and production schedules.
- Conduct quality inspections on components and finished products.
- Prepare and package completed products for distribution.
- Review blueprints and work orders to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Complete production documentation to report team performance to management.
- Inspect and test finished products to confirm functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
- Install piping, fixtures, and electrical components using various hand tools and equipment.
- Smooth and trim parts as necessary to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Collaborate with engineering to update technical drawings and parts lists.
- Coordinate with shipping, service, and production teams to meet production targets.
- Utilize the bill of materials and inventory systems to gather necessary components for assembly.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience preferred.
- Typically requires one to three years of direct experience related to the role.
- Moderate understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Basic mathematical skills are essential.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Must maintain composure under pressure.
- Capable of working with management to analyze assembly efficiency.
- Demonstrated urgency and focus on mission-critical tasks.
- Proficiency with computer systems is required.
