Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in the field
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently. The ability to work in a dynamic environment with varying patient needs is essential.
