Cultivation Associate

About the Role:

The Nirvana Center Dispensaries is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cultivation Associate to join our team. As a key member of our cultivation department, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of cannabis cultivation operations, from seedling to harvest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant and Crop Maintenance: Perform plant and crop maintenance tasks, including cloning, transplanting, feeding, pruning, pest management, harvesting, trimming, and curing.
• Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and maintain a clean environment, including removing and disposing of cannabis waste, cleaning, and sanitizing all rooms and tools used daily.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in collecting data to monitor plant health, soil health, environmental control systems, and seed-to-sale tracking.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to accomplish cultivation goals set forth by management.
• Pesticide Application: Apply pesticides as needed to maintain a healthy and pest-free environment.
• Task Execution: Perform all tasks set by management in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organizational Skills: Organized with attention to detail.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate staff.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service abilities.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least one year of retail experience is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing, walking throughout the facility.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
