Minimum Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven mechanical skills.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in building trades such as painting, wallpapering, plumbing, seating, and equipment repair.
Strong administrative and follow-up abilities to ensure effective maintenance and repair operations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.
Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey clear and concise information regarding facility issues.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve outcomes through resource management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

KEY FUNCTIONS
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the facility with meticulous attention to detail to identify necessary repairs.

Execute routine maintenance and prompt repairs in areas such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, food and beverage equipment, seating, and all related building components.

Supervise vendor activities, including scheduling repair and maintenance tasks as needed; closely monitor progress to ensure quality workmanship.

Maintain constant vigilance on all life safety matters; ensure that emergency systems are functional through internal inspections and vendor maintenance agreements.

Oversee and provide guidance to janitorial service providers regarding cleaning standards that do not meet company expectations.

Report all facility issues that require immediate attention to the General Manager and seek technical assistance from the Facility Engineer as necessary.

Ensure consistent maintenance and repair practices for all building components.
Establish routine systems for ongoing monitoring of problem areas.

Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure operational procedures foster an environment that is clean, safe, and well-maintained for both staff and guests.

Understand and monitor facility-related Variable Operating Expenses (VOE) associated with maintenance, repairs, and supplies.
Adhere to safety instructions for the use of all chemicals and cleaning materials.
Perform tasks using tools, ladders, and lifts safely and effectively.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Provide training support for the market as directed.
Uphold company standards and adhere to all established policies and procedures.
Maintain regular attendance for all scheduled shifts as per the Management Work Schedule Policy.
Complete all other functions and assignments as directed by the General Manager/Senior Manager (where applicable).
