Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including forklifts, genie lifts, and JLGs.
  • Diagnose and identify malfunctions using computerized tools and equipment.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts.
  • Test major components, such as engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Travel to other worksites to complete repairs on mobile units.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Automotive Certification, such as ASE, AC 609 Certification, or manufacturer certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of being exposed to dusty, hot/cold/wet conditions.
  • General - Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, elevated walkways, and walk, stand, stoop, work in awkward positions underneath equipment, for extended periods of time, enter tight congested areas to include awkward position, and be able to lift 50 lbs. single person – 80 lbs. w/two persons.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 5/8's. PTO will be scheduled and approved at least one week in advance. Will be required to wear PPE such as hard hats, earing protection, eye protection, safety shoes, respirators, Nomex, gloves, etc. but not limited to the PPE listed above.
