About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Department at Wexford Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff, ensuring effective use of resources and efficient workflow.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in perioperative nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR certification.
  • Preferred: Certification in perioperative nursing or a related specialty.
