Job Description

The Chief Marketing Officer will partner with leaders across Cedars-Sinai to develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives that support two key priorities: Academics/Research and Diversity-Inclusion-and-Health Equity (DIHE).

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires close partnerships with peer leaders within Marketing and Communications and with executive leadership in priority areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics that maintain brand identity standards.
  • Direct cross-functional marketing efforts to advance awareness of Cedars-Sinai's Academic enterprise and DIHE initiatives for internal and external audiences.
  • Drive acquisition for resident and fellow recruitment programs, health sciences university enrollment growth, and other identified priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build a productive work environment and help establish a coordinated tactical roadmap for these two priority areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field - Minimum requirement.
  • Master's Degree Preferred in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10 years Minimum Progressive experience in Marketing and Communications.
  • 3 years Minimum Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably at an academic medical center. Experience in marketing Research/Academics/Education.
  • 3 years Preferred Experience in marketing Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $180,000-$220,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
