Job Summary

CHAWK TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a skilled Plastic Welder to join our team. As a Plastic Welder, you will be responsible for tack and welding various plastics using hot-air welding guns, welding various geometries of components into final products, and maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tack and weld various plastics using hot-air welding guns.
  • Weld various geometries of components into final products to meet print requirements.
  • Understand various weld symbols on blueprints and understand size of fillet forms.
  • Understand various edge preps and set up techniques before welding.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, job travelers, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications.
  • Verifies dimensions of parts, using precision instruments, such as dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Conduct assessments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment.
