Position Overview

As a key contributor, you will independently manage and execute various engineering projects from inception to completion, requiring minimal guidance from senior personnel.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee client interactions and direct design development efforts
  • Ensure comprehensive and precise assessments of building mechanical systems
  • Assist in crafting designs, specifications, system narratives, and layouts for diverse projects
  • Administer all project phases, including essential deliverables such as calculations, schematics, and specifications
  • Design mechanical systems, calculating heating and cooling requirements
  • Select and arrange mechanical apparatus including pumps, chillers, fans, and boilers
  • Conduct construction oversight and field evaluation tasks for designated projects, including site inspections and detailed reporting
  • Guarantee that all drawings and designs adhere to company standards for production and design
  • Collaborate with Technical Leaders and Senior Engineers to uphold quality benchmarks and manage workload effectively, addressing project scope changes or additional services
  • Participate in project meetings and conduct site assessments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant professional experience in engineering design and project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit experience is advantageous
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with applicable design and building regulations

Key responsibilities may involve physical activities such as site surveys, which could include carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and accessing infrastructure in various conditions.
