DBM Global Inc is seeking a highly skilled Steel Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting steel, equipment, and supplies throughout our plant and yard in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Transport Steel and Equipment: Load and unload trucks and trailers, as well as move steel and equipment within the plant and yard.
- Operate Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and equipment as needed.
- Band Steel: Use the banding machine to bundle steel and secure it to pallets.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Adhere to all safety rules and PPE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform Other Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support the production process.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: Two years of experience operating 30,000 lbs. forklifts or bigger.
- Certifications: None required.
