At Wagner Heights Nursing & Rehab, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutritional care to our residents, ensuring their optimal health and nutritional status.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional care of residents and document in the medical record
- Recommend dietary interventions based on resident status using the company formulary
- Evaluate menu changes for nutritional adequacy
- Manage menus within facility budget
- Provide monthly reviews and documentation for residents at high risk
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs for dietary and nursing personnel
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting
- Meet all state licensing, certification, training, or credentials requirements
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations related to the Dietary Department
- Computer literacy
- Ability to manage menus within budget
- Ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Dietary Department
