Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the United States and around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Load and unload cargo, using heavy or light-duty machinery/equipment as needed.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory, including blended, bulk, or packaged products.
  • Deliver products to customer sites in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate and safe delivery.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including hours of service and load securement regulations.
  • Keep all work areas and vehicles clean, orderly, and safe, conducting regular housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including snow removal, and warehouse work, including forklift operation and general maintenance.
  • Report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in operations and/or trucking operations.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
