Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
- Monitor and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Direct and supervise MHTs, as needed.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments.
- Perform all scheduled assessments and physician orders in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate proper use of medication dispensing systems.
- Work accurately and professionally, being mindful of patient and department needs.
- Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Current ACLS certification is required.
- Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards is required.
- One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience is preferred but not required.
