About the Position

The Department Head is the spokesperson for the department and works with an advisory board of business professionals.

The Department Head recruits students and faculty, supports departmental teaching, research, and service activities, and manages resources, including friend- and fund-raising.

Requirements
  • An earned doctorate in Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Academic achievements in scholarship and teaching that merit appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor
  • An established record of successful teaching, significant intellectual contributions, and university service
Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited university
  • Familiarity with business AACSB accreditation standards and processes
  • Prior administrative experience
