Job Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Technical Specialist to contribute to our manufacturing operations. This position plays a vital role in enhancing operational processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering hands-on technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes and protocols to boost operational efficiency.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing production methodologies.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to provide essential support and guidance.
  • Act as a resource for manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new technological equipment.
  • Work across multiple manufacturing divisions to address and solve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), quality standards, and continuous improvement policies.
  • Provide direct assistance to the Maintenance Organization, responding to urgent technical issues on a 24/7 basis.
  • This role will require flexibility for shift work and weekend support as needed.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with electrical systems and controls in industrial settings.
  • Practical experience in the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of AC drives, DC drives, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with a solid grasp of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • 5 years of experience in product and process failure analysis, with knowledge of lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, and other advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking capabilities.
  • A solid maintenance background.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, including HART communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with gas-fired combustion systems is a plus.

Candidate Profile: This mid-senior-level role is suitable for candidates with over 5 years of experience in electrical systems and controls, particularly in an industrial context. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
