Main Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload freight accurately, maintaining inventory control and performing quality checks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Assist with directing warehouse employees while performing individual warehouse responsibilities in a specific functional area.
  • Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing processes.
  • Reconcile driver pick up and delivery manifests, label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and communicate work area needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Determine daily tasks, workloads, and coordinate staffing accordingly in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with logistics and warehousing operations.
