Position Overview:
The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, managing company-owned equipment, client inventory, and expendables. This role ensures efficient workflows, provides administrative support, and collaborates with Production Resource and Equipment Managers.
Ideal candidates have warehouse management experience, preferably in Event Services, with a strong understanding of logistics and economics. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and operational excellence are essential to upholding company standards and values.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and implement warehouse operations, procedures, and administrative tasks to align with quality standards, productivity goals, and overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and support team members to uphold the highest quality standards, ensuring adherence to inventory, shipping protocols, and quality control measures.
• Manage, oversee, and verify the accuracy of inventory check-in and check-out processes.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and complying with Federal, State, and Local regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with Equipment Managers to maintain accurate inventory records following established procedures.
• Update departmental work instructions and optimize process efficiency.
• Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration to streamline operations.
• Monitor and maintain management software systems, making updates as necessary.
• Oversee and manage company vehicle parking, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks when needed.
Qualifications
• 4+ years in the industry with team management experience
• Minimum of 3 years managing equipment in a warehouse setting
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) in relevant field or equivalent to industry experience
• Ability to learn and become proficient in proprietary software (Easyjob)
• Strong track record of mentoring, developing, and leading both individuals and teams.
• Proficient in computer and information systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Hands-on experience with equipment management software.
• Familiarity with required certifications and OSHA safety protocols and procedures.
• Active participation in the Safety Committee.
• Ability to operate large vehicles and trucks.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and team facilitation skills.
Position Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Warehouse environments can be noisy, with fluctuating temperatures, and managers need to be able to work comfortably in these conditions.
