Key Responsibilities- Execute audit strategies and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.
- Perform complex audit procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Conduct reviews, compilations, and special projects for various business entity types.
- Consult with clients and senior staff members on accounting processes and procedures, providing value-added insights and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current audit practices and methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on accounting and audit matters.
- Utilize advanced software tools, including ProSystems Engagement and Tax, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks, to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve audit objectives and deliver high-quality audit services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or a similar environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proven experience performing audits, reviews, compilifications, and special projects for various business entity types.
- Strong consulting skills, with the ability to advise clients and senior staff on accounting processes and procedures.
- Proficient in using advanced software tools, including ProSystems Engagement and Tax, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
