About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at RPM Living. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and respond to emergency maintenance assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance tasks within 24-48 hours, updating records in our computer system.
  • Document all maintenance activities and communicate clearly with residents, team members, and supervisors.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of issues, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and exterior maintenance.
  • Perform sheetrock repairs to maintain the community's aesthetics and structural integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies, including OSHA regulations and safety/environmental laws.
  • Collaborate effectively with maintenance team members, other departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance.
  • Conduct proactive preventive maintenance activities to avoid potential issues and uphold the quality of the property.
  • Assess property safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing resident well-being.
Requirements
  • One year of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • EPA certification required.
  • CPO - Preferred.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license - Required.
