We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at National Park Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through the nursing process, ensuring that all patients receive individualized attention and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct preoperative and post-operative assessments, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and intravenous solutions, and monitor patient responses.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary personnel, and act as a preceptor for new employees.
- Current valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a surgical or GI specialty.
- Knowledge of preoperative and post-operative assessment and management of adult and geriatric patients.
- Ability to work variable hours, and sit and stand for long periods of time.
