Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Minnetonka Medical Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing patient flow, assisting providers, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tasks such as rooming patients, administering immunizations and medications, and collecting lab specimens.
  • Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
  • Assist with prescription refills, phlebotomy duties, and clinic lab tests.
  • Provide clinic support with front desk operations, supply management, and prior authorizations.
  • Maintain proficiency in Medical Assistant skills, improve as needed, and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • Certification: Medical Assistant certification and BLS Certification required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting required. Passed x-ray operators exam or willingness to take the exam as needed.
  • Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in computer software applications.
