Position Overview

We are seeking a Configuration Manager to support the Space Development Agency's mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation and products to maintain integrity of configuration control; administer and organize a data repository for documentation and products.
  • Work with government clients and vendors to develop configuration management plans and documentation; may be called upon to review, edit and provide recommendations for configuration management plans provided by performers.
  • Use or recommend automated configuration management tools to implement configuration management policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and assess and provide recommendations to Government Project Managers on program objectives and assist in carrying out associated technical and program management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI-Eligible - Currently hold an active TS/SCI or have held an SCI and have been debriefed in the last 24 months;
  • Bachelor's of Science in a scientific field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior experience with configuration management design and deployment;
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities;
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and/or other equivalent program management tools;
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Acquisition or government program management experience highly desired;
  • ISO 9000 Certified;
  • CMMI Level 3;
