We are in search of a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to become a vital part of our expanding team, helping us maintain our commitment to outstanding patient experiences.
As a Veterinary Technician with our organization, you will connect with a network of over 5000 professionals, receive continuing education allowances, and participate in Learning & Development initiatives to support your career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
Effective communication with clients and education on medical histories and symptoms
Conducting laboratory tests including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecal examinations
Performing diagnostic imaging while adhering to safety protocols for staff
Nursing Responsibilities include:
restraining animals, administering medications via various routes, applying and maintaining bandages, proficiently placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture, preparing for surgeries, and monitoring anesthesia
Skilled in dental cleanings
Position Requirements:
Certification or Licensure as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials between states.
