SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions on written sales.
Job DescriptionThis Sales Manager role is responsible for leading the selling team and achieving store sales goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Culture and Promotions: Drive sales by personally selling La-Z-Boy products and services, and coach the team to achieve sales objectives.
- People Development: Train and develop selling team members on product knowledge and sales skills, creating a positive working environment and promoting a customer-first mindset.
- Store Standards / Operations: Champion the La-Z-Boy selling process, maintain store cleanliness and appearance, and adhere to operational procedures.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Set the highest standard for customer care, ensuring each customer has an informative and positive experience.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Initiative to meet assigned goals, missions, and objectives.
