Sargent & Lundy is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team. As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for various projects, working closely with other disciplines to ensure accurate and timely delivery of designs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed HVAC designs, including calculations, equipment sizing, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to survey existing conditions and gather information for design purposes.
- Prepare and review design documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- At least 8 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation, with ability to create design drawings and flow diagrams.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA.
