We are seeking a motivated professional with an inclusive mindset to take on the role of Retail Operations Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Assist the Store Manager in managing and distributing tasks to ensure effective execution of plans and strategies throughout the store.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and communicate essential metrics and expectations across various store functions, including sales, visual merchandising, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling, and training.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop all store associates to foster professional growth and build a strong talent pipeline.

Job Knowledge

  • Drive sales initiatives related to your position while acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Work alongside the Store Manager and other Assistant Store Managers during seasonal planning and execution.

Results Focused

  • Evaluate performance through reporting, translating data into actionable strategies to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure all customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Model excellent service by maintaining a positive attitude and enthusiasm in all communications.

Communication and Teamwork

  • Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding sales performance, customer feedback, and associate training.
  • Stay informed about all store initiatives and share relevant updates with associates as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A keen sense of personal style with a passion for design and home furnishings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or retail leadership.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent; an Associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven skills in delegation to support execution and drive results.
  • Ability to cultivate a culture centered on success and teamwork.
  • Full-Time roles require open availability for flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Part-Time roles require availability for two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or evening.
Minimum Starting Rate: $28.00 Hourly
Up to: $35.00 Hourly

Compensation may include bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on role and performance.
