Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team at KMG Hotels. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt and professional service, ensuring that our guests have memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome all guests, take beverage and food orders in a timely manner, and be attentive to their needs.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare food and beverages for service to guests, present food according to established health and presentation standards.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner, clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary.
  • Teamwork: Work as a team with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service, communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Problem-Solving: Take action to solve guest problems/complaints and use established guidelines for any service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adapt to changing situations, including working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Requirements
  • Basic Qualifications: Basic reading and writing skills, foodservice experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, move about the restaurant, handle food objects, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with guests, wait staff, cooks, and supervisors.
  • Local Laws and Regulations: Ability to comply with local laws regarding food handling and serving of alcohol.
